Like skeletons, TV antennas reach
To grab up signals from the atmosphere.
The evidence of man’s enlightened mind.
But they are frail and fail to grab the eye
Of those who stand and gaze at sunrise sky,
Amazed by evidence of Divine mind.

I couldn’t decide whether to spell the plural of antenna with an ‘s’ or an ‘e’ on the end. It’s a toss-up, according to most dictionaries. But at least one dictionary suggests using ‘s’ if the word refers to TV or radio antennas and ‘e’ if referring to the sensory antennae on bugs. That suggestion sounded good to me, so I went with it. If you have thoughts on the subject, leave a comment and let us know.
